Admissions Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree: Earned from a regionally accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from a comparative foreign institution. 
• No specific undergraduate degree is required.
• GREs or the GMAT are not required.

Current UMBC Enrolled Students

If you are enrolled in a different UMBC MA or PhD. program you may add an Instructional Systems Development Certificate Program onto your current program. Certificate Courses and Advance Standing in the ISD Master’s Degree Program

Certificate courses can be applied to the ISD Training Systems Master’s degree. Many students who graduate from the Master’s program often start by taking courses in the certificate program. After a student completes one of the certificate programs, they have already completed 4 of the 12 courses for the Master’s degree.
